RE: Mounting Protect-a-Tow

We've used ours for a year with no problems. Same fiberglass lip. I had to mount the toad's eye-bolts further back on car so I used two bungee cord as extenders.I get a lot of stretch that way going around corners.

Direct Antenna Adjustment

I am reposting this with more info. I have a crank-up Winegard antenna with a digital indicator. It moves in azimuth with any breeze. It loses the picture and then returns. Is there an adjustment to hold the antenna in place?

My antenna moves with any breeze. Is there an adjustment to fix this?
It's mounted on top of my M/H. Crank-up with digital meter for height. The base is secure to the roof but antenna moves in azimuth and loses picture.
Thanks Ron

RE: 2008 CRV

Very little trimming,maybe1/2 to 3/4 ". It's the black facia and cuts very easy with shears.I installed the Roadmaster bracket. The instructions are clear with pictures also. My wife and I installed in about 4 hours including a run to Ace Hardware for a 1" drill bit.
The trim is on the very bottom of the bumper,it is not visible from the front. You would have to crawl under the front to see it.
I could send you a picture of the front if you want.

RE: Protect-A-Tow for Acadia

I had a similar problem. I moved the eye bolts back and used 12"bungee cords on each side -- works fine and the cords flex on turns.

RE: Stuff for the black tank

We have been full time since '92'. We've never used anything in either tank. No odor. We do have to flush out the "P" traps once in awhile.

RE: Generator not pushing out 12 volts to charge batteries

I think the Gen. puts out a low charge rate, not a good way to charge batterys. I bought a 30 amp. charger and hook it up when running the gen.

RE: Fake replacement BrakeBuddy breakaway switch

If you mean the ring with small "probe" on it.That is only to keep moisture out of the switch. The disconnect probe used while towing is longer to hold the disconnect switch open. Just cover the hole when you're not towing.
